Dhaka-- – Communications Minister Anwar Hossain yesterday inaugurated the newly constructed “Setu Bhaban”, headquarters of Jamuna Multi-purpose Bridge Authority, at Banani here yesterday.

Apart from the maintenance and supervision of Bangabandhu Jamuna Bridge, construction works of other major bridges will be conducted and supervised through this office.

The centrally air-conditioned 12-stroey Setu Bhaban was constructed at a cost of Tk 13 crore.

Secretary of Jamuna Bridge Division of the Communications Ministry Syed Margub Murshed and other high officials were present during the inauguration, said an official handout.
